The Pearce Museum at Navarro College is excited to announce that the Navarro College Board of Directors have selected a work of art from the “Daryoush Ababaf: Master of Wood Marquetry” exhibit to purchase for the museum’s permanent Western Art collection. Daryoush has earned worldwide recognition for his artwork featuring wood inlay and embossing technique. The piece, “The Spirit of Texas” is on display now in the Western Art gallery.
The Pearce Museum is located on the campus of Navarro College in Corsicana, Texas at 3100 W. Collin St. We are open Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., and closed Saturdays, Sundays and select Holidays.
